Better late than never...
Ok, so it's a little late... but here's the gingerbread house I made at Christmas. I saw a very similar one on sale in Fortnum & Mason's for £15!!

Paper heart envelopes
With Valentine's Day coming up, I found a sweet little idea on Martha Stewart's site (http://www.marthastewart.com/) for paper heart envelopes. I made the envelopes using various papers -- some handmade scraps, some pieces of Japanese origami paper -- and some great self-adhesive ribbon that I found in a cute shop in New York called 'The Ink Pad'. All I have to do now is find a little trinket to hide inside the envelope for my Valentine to unwrap next week...

Well, here goes...
I make things all the time: a necklace for a friend's birthday; handbags when I was a poor student; Christmas decorations for my desk at work. I love it - it gives me a chance to ruffle my creative feathers and I always feel better after making something. As I tend to give these little creations away as gifts though, I think it's now time to start recording everything before they go to their new owners. So here it is: a blog of the Things What I Have Made. Enjoy!
